It aims to motivate and pique the interest of readers in using modern technologies for teaching and learning purposes. It demonstrates how Learning Management Systems play the role of digital classrooms, providing opportunities for students and teachers to interact with international communities beyond local institutions. This report also provides information on how to teach English as a foreign language using digital tools such as podcasts, online gaming, and oral presentations to engage students in a fun and exciting learning experience. Additionally, it describes the process of designing a website for teaching and learning purposes and its use in a virtual class for ESL students. This paper briefly discusses the history of virtual education to demonstrate the important factors that influenced the creation and development of technological tools and systems for teaching English as a foreign language. By leveraging technology and virtual environments, students and teachers can improve their language skills and connect with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. Finally, this work serves as a valuable resource for anyone interested in modern language education and the potential benefits of using virtual environments and technological tools for teaching and learning foreign languages. The objective of this paper is to inform educators and students about the most common AI tools used to detect plagiarism and their relevance in maintaining ethical standards in writing, as well as to learn about the development of activities of the specialization course. By understanding the functioning of these tools, educators can gain valuable information to verify the originality of their students' written works. In addition, an overview of the activities carried out through the three modules of the specialization is provided, along with the applications and tools studied. This document also presents the achievements made by the students upon completion of the specialization, highlighting how the specialization courses allow them to develop skills in specific areas of their careers. AI is anticipated to revolutionize education by personalizing learning experiences, automating administrative tasks, and enhancing interactive engagement. The report also summarizes the activities implemented each week through three interconnected modules. The first module introduced the fundamentals of online education, focusing on Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle and synchronous platforms like Microsoft Teams and Google Meet for managing virtual classrooms. The second module explored the theoretical foundations and practical applications of technological tools for online language teaching, including Edpuzzle, Flip, Narakeet, Liveworksheets, Nearpod, and Padlet. The third module concentrated on multimedia resources, involving the creation of podcasts, online presentations, interactive images, and videos, and culminated in a project where students integrated these elements into a Google Site. In all these interaction with new ways of teaching and learning, the internet is becoming probably the most used and reliable tool that offers an almost unlimited source of resources to improve the second language acquisition. Therefore, the main purpose of this report is to present all about the course called Administration of Virtual Environments for the Teaching and Learning of the Foreign Language, taught to the students of the Bachelor's Degree in English Language of the Faculty of Sciences and Humanities of the University of El Salvador, with the objective of offering students the fundamentals of online education and its application in the teaching of the English language, the theoretical foundations, the use of technological tools and to use at least four web tools for the design of educational materials. So they can teach their quality virtual classes, due to the global health problem caused by COVID-19.
