    RESUMEN: Una de las razones fundamentales por la que fallan de manera alarmante en los presupuestos y programación de obras los estudiantes que han cursado Planeamiento y Administración de Obras I, en el Departamento de Ingeniería y Arquitectura de la Facultad Multidisciplinaria de Oriente, y en general los alumnos de diversas universidades, es por el desconocimiento que se posee de los procesos constructivos que la obra conlleva; asimismo nunca se podrá programar una obra cuyo proceso se desconoce; también es utópico pensar que se estará apto para supervisar o dirigir un proceso constructivo que se desconozca. ABSTRACT: One of the fundamental reasons why the students who have studied Planning and Administration of Works I, in the Department of Engineering and Architecture of the Multidisciplinary Faculty of Oriente, and in general the students, fail alarmingly in the budgets and programming of works from various universities, it is due to the lack of knowledge of the construction processes that the work entails; Likewise, a work whose process is unknown can never be programmed; It is also utopian to think that one will be able to supervise or direct a construction process that is unknown.
