    RESUMEN: Con el paso de los años la Ciudad de San Miguel ha venido presentando cambios tanto en su infraestructura como en el aspecto socioeconómico y cultural. El ritmo con el cual se ha venido desarrollando el ser humano, la migración de las personas o el desplazamiento de poblaciones hacia la Ciudad, causó variaciones en la constitución territorial de la región, provocando que terrenos de vocación agrícola fueran parcelados dando origen a nuevas lotificaciones y urbanizaciones. ABSTRACT: Throughout the years, the city of San Miguel has undergone changes both in its infrastructure and in its social, economic and cultural aspects.
