This academic project presents the design of a virtual tourism service called Salvadoran Identity Cultural Tours, focused on promoting educational and cultural tourism in the Historic Center of San Salvador. The proposal aims to highlight Salvadoran identity, cultural heritage, and historical significance through guided tours designed for students, educational institutions, and national and international tourists interested in learning-based travel experiences. The study analyzes the theoretical foundations of tourism, its historical development in El Salvador, and the importance of sustainable tourism as a tool for social, cultural, and economic development. Additionally, it examines the role of entrepreneurship in tourism services and its contribution to local development. The project includes a detailed description of the tourist route, itinerary, service attributes, target market, and sustainability strategies. Through this proposal, the study seeks to encourage cultural awareness, strengthen national identity, and promote responsible tourism practices while offering an innovative educational tourism alternative that supports the preservation of the country’s cultural heritage. Keywords: educational tourism, cultural tourism, Salvadoran identity, sustainable tourism, entrepreneurship, Historic Center of San Salvador
