The acquisition of a second language has become one of the most necessary tools for better economic and professional development, and with this, knowledge has expanded into new areas. Among these are translation and the use of techniques in this area, therefore, the knowledge and management of these are an essential part of the translation process. The purpose of this report is to present the Fundamentals of Translation specialization course, developed in six months and virtually describing the activities that were carried out during that time. During the activities carried out in class, it allows the translator to put into practice the knowledge acquired in order to translate professionally. In these sessions and evaluations, some tools were taught and used, known as LMS (Learning Management System) among which the following are mentioned: Matecat, Babylon, Grammarly, CafeTran, ProZ. Platforms such as Photo Retouch and Abby were also used to have better quality texts that included images. This report includes a brief description of them. Finally, what the students achieved by participating in this specialization course and some recommendations will be provided.
