    ASISTENCIA TÉCNICA EN EL MANEJO ZOOSANITARIO PARA LA PREVENCIÓN DE BRUCELOSIS A PRODUCTORES DE LA REGIÓN IV, ASISTIDOS POR LA DIRECCIÓN GENERAL DE GANADERÍA, REGIÓN IV (DGG)

    El presente documenta recopila el proceso de pasantías de práctica profesional, desarrollada en el Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería- MAG Región IV en la División de Servicios Veterinarios, institución de gobierno la cual forma y ejecuta políticas que promueven el desarrollo sustentable agrícola, pesquero, forestal, pecuario, pesquero y acuícola, El MAG se caracteriza por una institución formadora de profesionales de las carreras Técnico en Veterinaria y Zootecnia, Medicina Veterinaria e Ing. Agronómica, estudiantes próximos a graduarse, brindando la experiencia del mundo laboral entre otros, es por lo que se tomó a bien realizar la pasantía en dicha institución, este proceso tuvo una duración de seis meses, la cual dio inicio el 26 de febrero y finalizando el 26 de agosto de 2024. Este proceso abarcó toda la zona oriental del país; San Miguel, La Unión, Morazán y Usulután, departamentos que asiste la Región IV. Uno de los principales aportes fue apoyar en el programa de Brucelosis, que lleva a cabo la DGG, con el fin de prevenir esta enfermedad zoonótica, conocer hatos positivos de esta enfermedad y hatos libres de BR, se capacitó a los productores bridando charlas acerca de la importancia en la salud humana y animal lo que es la BR, entre otras enfermedades zoonóticas y así mismo la alerta de vigilancia para prevenir lo que es el Gusano Barrenador del Ganado. La pasantía de práctica profesional se desarrolló satisfactoriamente puesto que adquirí nuevos conocimientos y nuevas técnicas para brindar apoyo a los ganaderos-productores en futuras consultorías de asistencia médica, así mismo seguir fortaleciendo los conocimientos adquiridos en la universidad y desarrollando nuevas capacidades para el ámbito laboral. This document compiles the process of professional practice internships, developed at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock - MAG Region IV in the Veterinary Services Division, a government institution that forms and executes policies that promote sustainable agricultural, fishing, forestry, livestock, fishing and aquaculture development. The MAG is characterized by an institution that trains professionals in the careers of Veterinary Technician and Zootechnics, Veterinary Medicine and Agricultural Engineering, students close to graduating, providing the experience of the working world among others, which is why it was decided to carry out the internship at said institution, this process lasted six months, which began on February 26 and ended on August 26, 2024. This process covered the entire eastern part of the country; San Miguel, La Unión, Morazán and Usulután, departments that Region IV assists. One of the main contributions was to support the Brucellosis program, carried out by the DGG, in order to prevent this zoonotic disease, to know herds that are positive for this disease and herds free of BR, the producers were trained by giving talks about the importance of BR in human and animal health, among other zoonotic diseases and also the surveillance alert to prevent what is the Cattle Screwworm. The professional practice internship was developed satisfactorily. since I acquired new knowledge and new techniques to provide support to cattle ranchers producers in future medical assistance consultancies, as well as to continue strengthening the knowledge acquired at the university and developing new skills for the workplace.
