| dc.description | RESUMEN La tutoría es una forma organizativa del trabajo docente que orienta y acompaña al estudiante durante su formación. Este estudio pretende justificar el enfoque “Una Salud” como contenido innovador para la labor tutorial de estudiantes del ciclo básico de Medicina y Estomatología. Métodos: Estudio cualitativo realizado entre octubre a diciembre 2024 en la Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Las Tunas, Cuba. Se emplearon métodos teóricos (históricológico, análisis-síntesis e inducción-deducción) para revisar la evolución conceptual del tema y la literatura disponible; se utilizó un estudio documental como método empírico. La metodología se desarrolló en dos etapas: la revisión teórica del enfoque “Una Salud” y el diseño de acciones formativas tutoriales. Resultados: Se identificaron los elementos esenciales que fundamentan la pertinencia del enfoque “Una Salud” en la tutoría universitaria. Se diseñaron actividades dirigidas a tutores y estudiantes, que integran principios de “Una Salud” con ciencias básicas biomédicas y cultura física. Conclusión: La propuesta de acciones tutoriales interdisciplinarias facilita la integración del enfoque “Una Salud” en la educación médica, fortaleciendo el rol del tutor y promoviendo una formación integral del estudiante. ABSTRACT Mentoring is an organizational form of teaching that guides students during their academic training. This study supports the integration of the “One Health” approach into tutorial work for basic-cycle students of Medicine and Stomatology. Methods: A qualitative study carried out 22 between October to December 2024 at the University of Medical Sciences of Las Tunas, Cuba. Theoretical methods (historical-logical, analysis-synthesis, and inductiondeduction) were used to review the conceptual evolution of the topic and the available literature; a documentary study was used as an empirical method. The methodology was developed in two stages: a theoretical review of the “One Health” approach and the design of tutorial training activities. Results: Key elements were identified that support the relevance of “One Health” in tutorial work. Activities for tutors and students were designed for integrating “One Health” principles with basic biomedical sciences and physical culture. Conclusion: The proposed interdisciplinary tutorial actions facilitate the inclusion of “One Health” content in mentoring, representing an innovative strategy that enhances tutor performance and fosters comprehensive student training.
