Item Factores que influyen en la atención del parto extrahospitalario en mujeres del Municipio de Chilanga, Morazán, enero-junio 2011(2011-01-01) Flores de Rolando, Patricia Dolores; González Quintanilla, Juana Isabel; Romero de Rodríguez, Leydy LorenaEl municipio de Chilanga en Morazán, posee una población rural en su mayoría quienes conservan sus costumbres autóctonas y pensamiento mágico-religioso de manera muy arraigada lo cual influye en la salud del binomio madre-hijo, razón por la cual consideramos importante llevar a cabo nuestra investigación en dicho lugar, sobre los factores que influyen en la atención del parto extrahospitalario en mujer es del municipio de Chilanga, durante el periodo comprendido de enero - junio 2011; realizando un estudio descriptivo y tomando como muestra a todas las mujeres que verificaron parto extrahospitalario, obteniendo la información por medio de entrevistas realizadas en la Unidad de Salud y en visitas domiciliarias, utilizando como instrumento el Cuestionario de la Encuesta, posteriormente se consolidó la información y se analizaron los datos a través de la estadística descriptiva, utilizando la distribución de frecuencias y porcentajes representándolos en gráficas. En esta investigación se obtuvieron los siguientes resultados, dentro de los aspectos más importantes que conllevan a las mujeres a preferir la atención del parto extrahospitalario están las tradiciones culturales, inaccesibilidad a los servicios de salud ya sean de tipo económicas o geográficas y nivel educativo. Se identificaron como causas más frecuentes para que las mujeres opten por el parto en casa, el temor a la episiotomía o cesárea, por maltrato por personal de salud, por tardanza en la atención, por la dieta alimentaria, por ausencia de familiares durante el parto y por irrespeto a sus costumbres. Se comprobó la preferencia de la atención del parto extrahospitalario debido a la empatía existente con la partera y al poco conocimiento que tienen a cerca de los principales riesgos y complicaciones que puedan presentarse durante el parto.
