    Análisis de los riesgos financieros en las inversiones de criptomonedas con enfoque en bitcoin, en El Salvador

    La realidad económica actual demanda mantenerse actualizado de las tendencias globales, esto pues, aquellas económicas que no se adaptan a las nuevas formas de hacer negocio o inclusive de subsistir son aquellas que mayor rezago de crecimiento presentan. En este sentido, el Gobierno de El Salvador tomo a bien optar por alternativas sobre las políticas existentes. Esto es, la adopción del Bitcoin como moneda de curso legal. Por ello que, es más que oportuno analizar los riesgos derivados de un movimiento que muchos especialistas catalogaron como arriesgado al momento de su anunciamiento. Sobre todo, considerando la muy poca educación financiera con la que cuenta la mayoría de los salvadoreños. Aunque la iniciativa apunta a la atracción de inversión extranjera, no se puede abnegar que la utilización de un cripto activo como moneda de curso legal puede traer más dudas, que ser la respuesta al hermetismo de la banca tradicional. A razón de lo anterior, el presente perfil de investigación muestra la importancia del análisis de los riesgos asociados a las inversiones en Bitcoin, tomando un enfoque hacia riesgos financieros como fraude, liquidez, lavado de dinero y activos. En este sentido se ha planteado para conocimiento del lector, los antecedentes del Bitcoin, a modo que observe la alta inestabilidad, que para efectos prácticos se denomina a lo largo del documento como “volatilidad”; también se abarca definiciones esenciales y el entendimiento general de la minería del Bitcoin. Finalmente, como parte de la propuesta se ha definido el problema a investigar, optando por una investigación del tipo exploratoria donde se tomará inicialmente la base la información bibliográfica disponible, así como análisis del comportamiento del cripto activo y apoyando el entendimiento del tema con opiniones o criterios formados por especialistas en la gestión de riesgos financieros, para lo cual, se considerará la normativa legal vigente, que en poca o gran medida promulga iniciativas para la mitigación de riesgos en operaciones bajo las cuales se puede transaccionar Bitcoin. Es necesario considerar que el análisis descrito previamente, está orientado a la realidad económica de El Salvador. The current economic reality demands to keep up to date with global trends, this is because those economies that do not adapt to the new ways of doing business or even subsisting are those that present the greatest lag in growth. In this regard, the Government of El Salvador has decided to opt for alternatives to existing policies. That is, the adoption of Bitcoin as legal tender. Therefore, it is more than appropriate to analyze the risks derived from a move that many specialists classified as risky at the time of its announcement. Especially considering the very little financial education that most Salvadorans have. Although the initiative aims to attract foreign investment, it cannot be denied that the use of a crypto asset as legal tender can bring more doubts than being the answer to the secrecy of traditional banking. Because of the above, this research profile shows the importance of analyzing the risks associated with investments in Bitcoin, taking a focus on financial risks such as fraud, liquidity, money laundering and assets. In this sense, the background of Bitcoin has been raised for the reader's knowledge, so that he can observe the high instability, which for practical purposes is called throughout the document as "volatility"; it also covers essential definitions and the general understanding of Bitcoin mining. Finally, as part of the proposal, the problem to be investigated has been defined, opting for exploratory research where the available bibliographic information will be initially taken as a basis, as well as analysis of the behavior of the crypto asset and supporting the understanding of the topic with opinions or criteria formed by specialists in financial risk management. for which, the current legal regulations will be considered, which to a large or large extent enact initiatives for the mitigation of risks in operations under which Bitcoin can be transacted. It is necessary to consider that the analysis described above is oriented to the economic reality of El Salvador.
