The objective of our experience is to offer the opportunity to discover the most beautiful and highest mountain in El Salvador, the Pital. And to achieve our idea in an organic and sustainable way, we have investigated not only the history of tourism in the country, but also its customs and traditions to delve more fully into the world of tourism. In addition, we detail step by step the concept of our product as well as a profile of what we as entrepreneurs need to successfully complete a tourist experience or any other business idea. On the other hand, we specialize in the laws and regulations that will guarantee us legibility to operate in this area. Taking this into account, we have created a safe, pleasant, and viable experience using a natural and beautiful resource from our beautiful country, El Salvador.Item The most common applications in language learning.(2023-01-01) Corado Reyes, Gabriela Janeth; Menjívar González, Blanca Alicia; Carranza Campos, Miguel ÁngelThe report of this document presents a small summary of all the topics studied during the specialization course. Everything presented during this course was focused on the reality that we have experienced since the COVID-19 pandemic: virtual classes. In the development of the course, it was possible to learn the use and management of the platforms and how to take advantage of the technological resources in order to have a better quality in online teaching. With the arrival of the pandemic, our country, as well as many countries around the planet, faced a situation that no one was prepared, especially in education. That was one of the main reason the course the course focused on training and learning the management of each virtual platform, recognizing online classes are an alternative for this type of situation. Likewise, the course helped on knowing and learning about technologies that can be used at the moment of teaching the English and French languages, that are the ones we as students learnt during the career. In addition, during the curse was taught how technology offers an easy way to keep a record of didactic material, either in a face-to-face or online classes.Item The relevance of implementing a Bachelor of Arts in English with Specialization in Translation, Interpretation, or Tourism in the Foreign Language Department of the University of El Salvador(2020-10-01) Segura Osorio, Wilson Ernesto; Recinos Chacón,, María de los Ángeles; Ferrer Sarceño, Alfonso Isaac; Rodríguez Argueta, Francisco Antonio; Blandón de Castro, Norma CeciliaThe University of El Salvador through the Foreign Language Department is currently offering to the Salvadoran society two Bachelor degrees, these are the Bachelor of Arts in English with Emphasis in Teaching, and the Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages with Especialization in English and French. Despite the fact that the Bachelor of Arts in English with Emphasis in Teaching has a great demand every year, it is also important to mention that some of the students opt to specialize themselves in other areas of the English language because they do not have other options. In that sense, the present study attempted to reach if the implementation of a new Bachelor of Arts in English is necessary to prepare future professionals in areas such as Translation, Interpretation or Tourism. This research was also motivated to help future professionals to fulfil the demands of companies looking for professionals in those areas in the current labor market as well as to discover the labor necessities of future professional of the current Bachelor of Arts in English with Emphasis in Teaching. The instruments to collect the data involved interviews and surveys administered to recruitment specialists of companies that offer English services to their customers in other countries, and students of the Bachelor of Arts in English with Emphasis in Teaching who were coursing the fifth year during the semester II 2019. In addition, the results suggested that even though most of the students agreed with the current Bachelor they were studying, there were many students that were interested in specializations such as translation, interpretation, or tourism. Besides, this research pretends to make a contribution for the improvement and the diversification of the specializations in the Department of Foreign Languages of the University of El Salvador.
