    Título: Historias de mujeres, víctimas de violencia en sus relaciones de pareja, del Municipio de Ciudad Barrios. Resumen: Investigar sobre la violencia es una temática difícil de abordar debido a los daños que puede causar en diferentes áreas y etapas de la vida. Esta investigación tenía como objetivo conocer a profundidad las historias de mujeres víctimas de violencia en sus relaciones de pareja en el municipio de Ciudad Barrios. Metodología: La investigación es de tipo cualitativo, basada en la observación y el análisis de los resultados obtenidos a través de la interacción con las participantes. Se abordó a tres mujeres que han experimentado o siguen experimentando algún tipo de violencia en sus relaciones de pareja. El instrumento utilizado fue una entrevista estructurada y profunda, la cual permitió profundizar en las vivencias significativas de las mujeres a lo largo de su vida en pareja y crear historias de vida. Estas historias permitieron identificar el sufrimiento físico, emocional, psicológico, sexual, económico y laboral que las mujeres han vivido o siguen viviendo. Los aspectos explorados ayudan a dimensionar el impacto que la violencia de pareja genera en el área biopsicosocial de las mujeres. Los resultados recopilados se presentarán en un análisis cualitativo, cuyo objetivo central es narrar y analizar las vivencias de las participantes en sus relaciones de pareja, así como identificar el tipo de violencia que más ha prevalecido y el daño ocasionado en las mujeres en diferentes aspectos. Se determina en esta investigación que la violencia que sufren las mujeres es por los constructos sociales que están bien arraigados en la sociedad ya que provienen de estatus social. ABSTRACT Investigating violence is a difficult topic to address due to the damage it can cause in different areas and stages of life. This research aims to deeply understand the stories of women victims of violence in their intimate relationships in the municipality of Ciudad Barrios. Methodology: The research is qualitative, based on the observation and analysis of results obtained through interaction with the participants. Three women who have experienced or continue to experience some form of violence in their intimate relationships were approached. The instrument used was a structured in-depth interview, which allowed for a deep exploration of the significant experiences of the women throughout their lives in relationships, creating life stories. These stories helped identify the physical, emotional, psychological, sexual, economic, and labor suffering that the women have lived or continue to live. The aspects explored help to dimension the impact that intimate partner violence generates in the biopsychosocial area of women. The collected results will be presented in a qualitative analysis, with the central objective of narrating and analyzing the participants' experiences in their intimate relationships, as well as identifying the most prevalent types of violence and the damage caused to the women in different aspects. In this research, it is determined that the violence suffered by women is due to social constructs that are well rooted in society since they come from social status.

    Conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas sobre el aborto en estudiantes de 1° año de Tecnología Médica del departamento de Medicina, Facultad Multidisciplinaria Oriental; periodo de mayo a junio 2018

    RESUMEN: El aborto es un problema real a nivel mundial en El Salvador se agudiza mucho más debido a que nuestra sociedad está muy influenciada por las iglesias y sus doctrinas, debido a esto ninguna Institución del Estado se atreve a tomar la iniciativa a pesar de peticiones de Organizaciones sociales y la misma ONU quien se une al esfuerzo de solicitar que se despenalice el aborto bajo cuatro causales especiales: cuando la vida de la madre esté en riesgo, cuando el embarazo sea producto de una violación sexual, cuando sea un caso de trata de personas y cuando la vida del feto fuera del útero sea inviable. Los Objetivos de la Investigación que permitieron determinar los conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas sobre el aborto. El Diseño Metodológico del estudio fue prospectivo, Transversal y prospectivo en el que participaron una muestra de 118 estudiantes que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, los resultados se analizaron e interpretaron estadísticamente para una certificación científica y confiable, concomitantemente se realizó la discusión de estos; las Técnicas de Recolección de Información, los Instrumentos, el Plan de Análisis, Resultados Esperados y los Riesgos y Beneficios. se plantean los resultados con su respectivo análisis e interpretación de datos finalizando con la discusión. Se plantean las Conclusiones y Recomendaciones tomando como base los resultados de la investigación realizada. ABSTRACT: Abortion is a real problem worldwide in El Salvador it becomes much more acute because our society is highly influenced by the churches and their doctrines, due to this no State Institution dares to take the initiative despite requests from Organizations and the UN itself, which joins the effort to request that abortion be decriminalized under four special grounds: when the life of the mother is at risk, when the pregnancy is the product of rape, when is a case of human trafficking and when the life of the fetus outside the womb is unviable. The Objectives of the Research that allowed to determine the knowledge, attitudes and practices about abortion. The Methodological Design of the study was prospective, cross-sectional and prospective in which a sample of 118 students who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria participated, the results were statistically analyzed and interpreted for a scientific and reliable certification, concomitantly the discussion of these; Information Collection Techniques, Instruments, Analysis Plan, Expected Results and Risks and Benefits. The results are presented with their respective analysis and interpretation of data, ending with the discussion. The Conclusions and Recommendations are presented based on the results of the research carried out
