dc.description.abstractDistance learning is increasingly becoming an option for learners that were previously denied continuing education opportunities due to pandemic situations, academic preparation, or personal circumstances. For this reason it is really important educators can get specialization 4 in virtual classrooms and how important the usage of technological tools is. It is also a means to help nations meet goals to increase the percentage of individuals with the education in order to address workforce needs. However, learners and instructors often have concerns with their ability to be successful in a distance learning environment. Considerable research has been conducted over the last few days, which has identified certain principles of effective learning. These principles are important to consider in the development of multimedia resources. This final report presents a theoretical model for eLearning and eTeaching aimed at helping learners and instructors successfully navigate distance learning courses for a second language. Examples of course activities corresponding to the model components, some important technological tools seen are shared in the specialization course. A qualitative analysis of learner self-reflections demonstrates the efficacy of the model in terms of increased autonomy, self-regulation, and targeted skills.
