Abstract
RESUMEN
En el presente trabajo de “EL TÍTULO SUPLETORIO DE LA PROPIEDAD”, se detalla el vínculo que existe entre la posesión y el dominio propiamente dicho, tomando en cuenta que para llegar a ser declarado dueño en legal forma es importante probar dicha posesión o que legítimamente un determinado inmueble es propio, por ello es necesario tener un título inscrito que respalde ese derecho y en este caso este título en comento erige como un instrumento legal que otorga seguridad jurídica al poseedor en sí.
Este trabajo explora el origen como tal del Título Supletorio conforme a sus antecedentes, basado en su forma de proceder en sus inicios y de igual forma los factores que involucran, pero sin dejar pasar de vista lo que determina nuestra ley salvadoreña, tal es así que es indispensable que quien pretende probar la posesión debe haberla mantenido de forma quieta pacífica e ininterrumpida en todo momento por un lapso de tiempo considerable. Por lo tanto, también está plasmado el procedimiento a seguir para obtener el Título Supletorio de la Propiedad de forma técnica, además de su regulación básica en el Código Civil de nuestro país, su naturaleza jurídica y sus características fundamentales para comprender como opera y como surte sus efectos legales este título.

ABSTRACT
This paper, "The Supplementary Title of Ownership," details the link between possession and ownership itself. It considers that to be legally declared the owner, it is essential to prove possession or that a particular property is legitimately one's own. Therefore, a registered title is necessary to support this right, and in this case, the Supplementary Title serves as a legal instrument that provides legal security to the possessor.
This paper explores the origin of the Supplementary Title, tracing its history and initial procedures, as well as the factors involved. It also considers the requirements of Salvadoran law, which stipulate that whoever seeks to prove possession must have maintained it peacefully, uninterruptedly, and for a considerable period of time. Therefore, the procedure for obtaining a Supplementary Title to Ownership is also outlined in technical terms, along with its basic regulations in our country's Civil Code, its legal nature, and its fundamental characteristics to understand how this title operates and produces its legal effects.
