Abstract
RESUMEN: El presente trabajo, “La comunicación interpersonal en pacientes con fibromialgia en su entorno familiar y laboral, departamento de Usuluán de 2017 a 2020” La fibromialgia es una enfermedad musculo-esquelética que se caracteriza por dolor agudo e incapacitante, en 18 o más puntos de dolor aproximadamente, siendo este síntoma el que prevalece a lo largo de la enfermedad. Es por ello que este estudio tiene como objetivo general, analizar la comunicación interpersonal en pacientes con fibromialgia en su entorno familiar y laboral, en el departamento de Usulután. Así mismo los objetivos específicos; conocer los procesos de comunicación y comprender como afecta la fibromialgia en la comunicación interpersonal del paciente. La Metodología utilizada fue hipotética inductiva, con el fin de llegar a comprender como es la comunicación interpersonal, de los pacientes con fibromialgia en su entorno, familiar y laboral, de igual manera se encuentra el abordaje cualitativo y diseño narrativo que busca detallar las características del fenómeno, también se describe el procesamiento y análisis de los resultados con el software cualitativo Wetf QDA. En los resultados, se ve afectada la comunicación interpersonal tanto en el ámbito familiar, como en el laboral, muchas veces se debe a que el paciente se aísla en aquellos momentos donde tienen episodios de dolor, no quieren hablar con su pareja, hijos su familia. En el ámbito laboral manifiesta la mayoría de pacientes, tratan de disimular y estar ahí en su puesto de trabajo. Muchos no conocen exactamente lo que realmente es la enfermedad, se pudo observar que no hay empatía hacia este grupo de personas de parte de las familias, compañeros de trabajo y jefe inmediato. En conclusión, las personas que padecen fibromialgia tienen problemas de comunicación interpersonal prefiere aislase, evitar ruido, también evitan mantener una conversación con su círculo más cercano, y en el ámbito laboral.

That is why this study's general objective is to analyze interpersonal communication in patients with fibromyalgia in their family and work environment, in the department of Usulután. Also the specific objectives; know the communication processes and understand how fibromyalgia affects the interpersonal communication of the patient. The methodology used was hypothetical inductive, in order to understand how interpersonal communication is, of patients with fibromyalgia in their environment, family and work, in the same way is the qualitative approach and narrative design that seeks to detail the characteristics of the phenomenon, the processing and analysis of the results with the qualitative software Wetf QDA is also described. In the results, interpersonal communication is affected both in the family and at work, many times it is due to the fact that the patient isolates himself in those moments where they have episodes of pain, they do not want to talk with their partner, children, or families. In the workplace, most patients manifest, they try to hide and be there at their job. Many do not know exactly what the disease really is, it could be observed that there is no empathy towards this group of people on the part of the families, co-workers and immediate boss. In conclusion, people who suffer from fibromyalgia have interpersonal communication problems, prefer to isolate themselves, avoid noise, they also avoid having a conversation with their closest circle, and in the workplace
