Abstract
The verbal communication requires the knowledge of different languages but the most common languages in the world are English, Spanish, French and Chinese. That is why a lot of countries are training their people in order to acquire a foreign language.El Salvador has been suffering frequent changes in the economic and social field. At the moment, people have to master a foreign language because it is a possibility to get better jobs, and opportunities in different areas. Also, it makes people more competitive in the professional field. Salvadorian people know that communication in English represents a key for the future, it is an entry to the economic development in the country and it has to take into account that the illiterates from the new millennium are going to be those who cannot use a computer and do not learn a foreign language. Therefore, one of the most significant conceptions that Salvadorian people have to keep in mind is to be aware about the importance of the English language which is making rich the economic, cultural and social field in El Salvador.
