Abstract
RESUMEN: La anestesiología es una práctica médica encargada del alivio del dolor, así como del cuidado del paciente antes, durante y después de un acto quirúrgico, para ello se ha hecho uso de diversas ciencias como anatomía, fisiología y farmacología entre otras. La percepción sobre anestesia es un fenómeno que involucra reacciones fisiológicas y emocionales que surgen ante un procedimiento quirúrgico, este se ve influenciado por diversos factores tanto internos como externos entre ellos se encuentra nivel sociocultural, experiencias pasadas, sentimientos, sensaciones y comentarios de terceras personas. El objetivo de la investigación es develar la percepción de los pacientes sobre la anestesia, basándose en dos situaciones, como son los pacientes con experiencias anestésicas y los que no las tienen con el fin evaluar las diferencias que existen entre ellas. La metodología de investigación es de tipo cualitativo para la presente investigación se utilizará la fenomenología que se caracteriza por responder como las personas dan sentido a su experiencia vivida en un contexto o frente a un fenómeno en particular. El instrumento de medición que se utilizara será una entrevista semi estructurada para la recolección de datos de la información se utilizaran técnicas documentales bibliográficas, sitios electrónicos y por ultimo las técnicas de campo constituidas por la entrevista. Resultados del proceso de interpretación y análisis de la información dados por los participantes, se obtuvieron categorías, en las que se describen las percepciones de los pacientes adultos que serán intervenidos quirúrgicamente, donde se obtuvieron discursos, mensajes y significados de las percepciones que tienen sobre anestesia, antes del procedimiento quirúrgico.
ABSTRACT: Anesthesiology is a medical practice in charge of pain relief, as well as patient care before, during and after a surgical act, for which various sciences such as anatomy, physiology and pharmacology, among others, have been used. The perception of anesthesia is a phenomenon that involves physiological and emotional reactions that arise before a surgical procedure, this is influenced by various internal and external factors, including sociocultural level, past experiences, feelings, sensations and comments from third parties. The objective of the research is to reveal the perception of patients about anesthesia, based on two situations, such as patients with anesthetic experiences and those who do not, in order to evaluate the differences that exist between them. The research methodology is of a qualitative type. For the present investigation, the phenomenology will be used, which is characterized by responding as people give meaning to their lived experience in a context or in the face of a particular phenomenon. The measurement instrument that will be used will be a semi-structured interview for the collection of information data, bibliographic documentary techniques, electronic sites and finally the field techniques constituted by the interview will be used. Results of the process of interpretation and analysis of the information given by the participants, categories were obtained, in which the perceptions of adult patients who will be operated on are described, where speeches, messages and meanings of the perceptions they have about anesthesia were obtained. before the surgical procedure
