This research work was carried out with the 2014-graduates of the Bachelor of Arts in English with Emphasis in Teaching, their employers and professors of the Department of Foreign Languages of the University of El Salvador. The information was collected through an online questionnaire for the graduates and an in situ interview with employers and professors. The purpose was to analyze the professional and personal competences that these graduates developed during the academic formation received at the UES. In order to fulfill the objective, it was necessary to inquire about the 2014-graduates’ labor insertion process, the evaluation of the career from the point of view of both the graduates and the professors of the Department, and the relevance of graduates’ academic formation related with the accomplishment of the labor demands and the philosophical framework of the University. It also describes the degree of satisfaction of the employers with respect to the graduates’ work performance.es
