Abstract
The reason for this projective research was that the researchers realized that first year students of Licenciatura en Idioma Inglés Opción Enseñanza present problems with their receptive skills – listening and reading. The paradigm the researchers chose was the mixed method in order to gather qualitative and quantitative data. The researchers decided that the best way to apply the developed syllabus course was through an Online English course. The researchers chose the mix method paradigm to carry out this research. By using this paradigm, the researchers gathered information to test their hypothesis that shows if the development of the receptive skills is enhanced with such online course.
