To achieve the objectives of this project, the researchers made use of an online platform called Wabisabi in which students could enhance their critical thinking skills by taking into account its features and with this create audios and videos to develop activities that can help students to acquire more knowledge during their learning process. The research team through a previous observation identified the necessity of designing suitable activities for students’ improvement of their speaking skill. After stating clear objectives, researchers selected the appropriate tools and proposed an intervention plan to meet directly the students from Centro Escolar Católico Madre del Salvador response to TBL oral practices. Students had the main role in the class since they worked by themselves on information, reasoning, and personal opinion about the activities. Along with this, students’ oral performance was verified with their report at the end of every class. In consequence, this approach remains students’ constant use of the language in a real-life context. In this research study, the investigators presented all actions, instruments they used with the soft skills- cooperation, problem solving, and adaptability to develop the speaking skill in first year high school students. In addition, researchers used the Embedded model and innovative speaking activities making students put into practice all the vocabulary and structures studied in each intervention with them as well. For the achievement of the objectives of this research study, the researchers made and executed a plan of action, including an innovative group of English speaking activities used in the intervention plan. After obtaining the respective results, the researchers analyzed, compared and contrasted the baseline to see the achievement of the objectives. This helped the research team to know if first year high school students had developed their English speaking skill or not. E Tomás Medina and the specific ones are to describe how 1st grade students acquire EFL, to design a syllabus and a macro-lesson, to describe their functionality, and to provide them to introduce English as a foreign language using the Total Physical Response approach and technology at C.E Tomás Medina. Undoubtedly, factors such as the motivation have a big influence in the EFL learning processItem The Implementation of a Hanbook to Improve Segundo Año de Bachillerato Técnico en Infraestructura Tecnológica y Servicios Informaticos Students' Productive Skills at the Instituto Nacional de El Congo, year 2020(2020-09-01) Mendoza Nájera, Blanca María; Luna Uribe, Carla Estephanie; Hernández Vásquez, Katherinne Elizabeth; Valencia Martínez, Katherin Lissette; Hidalgo Sandoval, Juan FranciscoThe research team carried out the Holistic Projective Research “The Implementation of a Handbook to improve Segundo Año de Bachillerato Técnico en Infraestructura Tecnológica y Servicios Informáticos Students’ Productive Skills at the Instituto Nacional de El Congo, year 2020.” The purpose of this research is to enhance student’s productive skills through the implementation of a handbook which contains worksheets, readings, role plays, and practices. The study was conducted under the selective sampling procedure. In addition, the researchers stablished one main objective: To propose a handbook to improve students’ productive skills; consequently, three research questions were originated as well. Moreover, the research team carried out the diagnosis by means to identify the opinions students and teacher have about the English subject, and it allowed the investigators to find out the main problem students face. According to the information gathered, the difficulties with productive skills the students have is due to the way the activities are developed in class, and the lack of extra material that is provided. The study involves the use of different tools to gather data such as an observation guide, teacher’s interview guide, and a student questionnaire. Thus, the researchers propose a project to better students’ productive skills through the implementation of the handbook.
