Abstract
El presente trabajo de graduación tiene como objetivo el desarrollo de la “APLICACIÓN INFORMÁTICA EN AMBIENTE WEB PARA REGISTRO ACADÉMICO, CONTROL DE NOTAS, INVENTARIO DE ACTIVO FIJO Y BONO ESCOLAR DEL CENTRO ESCOLAR CATÓLICO SANTA MARÍA DEL CAMINO DE LA CIUDAD DE APASTEPEQUE, DEPARTAMENTO DE SAN VICENTE”.
El modelo en cascada es la metodología implementada para el desarrollo del sistema informático. Dicho modelo considera todo el ciclo de vida del software, desde el planteamiento del problema o definición de la necesidad, pasando por las fases de análisis de requerimientos, diseño, implementación, pruebas o depuración hasta su salida al entorno productivo.
La estructura del sistema informático fue definida con el propósito de mejorar el performance institucional, llevando a cabo los procesos con mayor eficiencia, reduciendo tiempos de espera, aliviando la carga de trabajo del personal docente y administrativo, además de mejorar la atención brindada a los estudiantes.
Al finalizar el proyecto, el Centro Escolar cuenta con un registro académico automatizado, inventario de activo fijo, registro de transacciones de bono escolar, así como también control de calificaciones más eficiente, acceso a la información, seguridad para respaldar el acceso a la información y la disponibilidad de la misma en el momento que se requiera.

SUMMARY
The objective of this graduation work is the development of the "COMPUTER
APPLICATION IN THE WEB ENVIRONMENT FOR ACADEMIC REGISTRATION,
GRADE CONTROL, INVENTORY OF FIXED ASSETS AND SCHOOL BONUS OF
THE SANTA MARÍA DEL CAMINO CATHOLIC SCHOOL IN THE CITY OF
APASTEPEQUE, DEPARTMENT OF SAN VINCENT”.
The waterfall model is the methodology implemented for the development of the computer system. Said model considers the entire life cycle of the software, from the problem statement or definition of the need, going through the phases of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing or debugging until its exit to the productive environment.
The structure of the computer system was defined with the purpose of improving institutional performance, carrying out processes with greater efficiency, reducing waiting times, relieving the workload of teaching and administrative staff, in addition to improving the attention provided to students.
At the end of the project, the School Center has an automated academic record, fixed asset inventory, school voucher transaction record, as well as more efficient grade control, access to information, security to support access to information and its availability when required.
